To perform a marbled green color on a surface previously sealed with background MDF 2K FP-527 of TONNER.

  • Initially we sand the surface with 220 grit sandpaper in a uniform manner at the ends being careful not to peel, we completed the sanded with 320 grit sandpaper that will give you smoother the piece once the sanding, clean the surface well eliminating waste or pollutants to obtain an excellent finish.
  • Is funded with a dark green lacquer (LN-120 of TONNER Thinner dissolved in TH-100 at a ratio of 3 to 1), so that details stand out more marbled and carried out in lighter shades.
  • Apply two coats on the surface evenly detailing the edges after the first hand are a pistoleos in various parts of the surface so that they are a darker parts, these effects will give us our technique once the lacquer we drying time of about two hours, it should be noted that the longer the drying, the better the effect.
  • To this end we work with enamel dissolved in mineral spirit as a little slow drying and gives us time to manage, the colors that give the effect are black, dark green, yellow and white, which will mix up get the desired tone. First running a light shade (mixture of green with white ES-320 ES-301), applies with wet burlap on the tone softly blended ... in a whimsical on the surface, giving shapes and styles that are not uniform, it is worth noting the tone should not be refilled and clean the excess. There you go changing the shape of the tow to give you several ways to figure this for us and how we do not even
  • Now on the lighter shade applied and will be given a darker shade (mixture of black ES-330 with dark green ES-320) with tow by repeating the above procedure in a more dispersed not to cover the previous color.
  • Make a line in a creative way using a thread of tow dipped in the same light color that had been prepared, it is necessary to remove excess paint to give more definition to the lines, curves or as desired to decorate. The thread is dropped onto the surface and makes a slight pressure to impregnate the form on our part, if there is excess with a clean dry tow to keep the figure. Another way is used to make lines with a fine brush which is moistened with paint leaving it slide gently touches finally make the edges and spaces that may have been left looking the appearance of natural marble.

  • To this effect, using a technique based on dye marbled (TM-703 YELLOW AND RED ENGLISH TM-708) and solvent (superfine THINNER TH-100), on a surface previously sealed MDF bottom 2K polyurethane (FP- 527), this piece is sanded in the same way that the above process, ie 220 grit sandpaper ending with 320.
  • To give the desired use drippers and spray, the TM-703 YELLOW TINT extract a certain amount dropper, spreading over the surface at random, dropping dropwise throughout the piece trying to stay spaces between these, we accomplish the same procedure, taking the dye RED ENGLISH TM-708, drop by drop until a smooth surface, we emphasize those sites where there is more white.
  • Once the dyes are applied to the surface with extra fine spray roseamos THINNER (TH 100) evenly, showing a chemical reaction that separates and combines both the colors of the dyes, it is worth noting that we often thinner Sprinkle clothe as necessary to find the marbled appearance we were looking for one of the main characteristics of this technique is that it supports very well the solvent, which does not occur with other funds.
  • If once the reaction is still noticeable in the blanks, add a little more depending on the need to dye color, YELLOW or RED TM-703 TM-708 ENGLISH.
  • The shades of the dyes are combined according to the desired appearance, it should be noted that the bigger the drop, more definition will be given to color.
  • Finally refinish the piece using PU-650 HIGH SOLID PAINT 2K, which will give us the brightness and the appearance of a real marbled.

  • This surface presents a very smooth appearance, which makes adherence of any type of paint is very difficult.
  • We will use ONLINE Tonner polyurethane paint PU-700, since by its properties is that shows better adhesion all lines of paints.
  • Most important for this application, properly clean the surface, using superfine THINNER (TH-100); roseamos on all glass with the product and then with a rag or cloth in a circular motion rub the entire surface to remove grease or contamination dirt is present, it is advisable to repeat it several times to get a perfect cleaning.
  • Having cleaned the glass, let it dry for a few minutes for the solvents present in the thinner to evaporate and do not cause pollution problems later.
  • We use polyurethane, FERRARI RED (PU-798) must be filtered very well the paint (use organza) to remove or retain dirt or particulate matter that prevent optimal application and a perfect finish.
  • Once we locate the prepared glass painting in our spray booth and before we blow the glass very well with the gun, then apply a single coat and even to avoid excesses. We left a prudent time frame for the second hand, the longer drying time (10 to 15 minutes) the better the grip.
  • The number of coats depends on the appearance of transparency that you want to give our piece, because the more hands we will reflect less light. For this application only two coats of polyurethane will FERRARI RED (PU-798) because it offers excellent filling properties. After applying let it dry, 24 to 48 hours for installation.
  • Once dry, we can appreciate the look and sparkle reflecting glass. The colors are more vivid, not in vain is the technique that is currently being used in the manufacture of doors for integrated kitchens and office furniture.

  • The secret to a good finish is how the furniture is sanded blank, you should use sandpaper grit not too thick (150 to 320) and always run the sanding with the grain of the wood to avoid scratches.
  • Remove wood imperfections such as cracks, holes, marks, among others, between the surface more even performance over the application of paint.
  • Consider the finish you want, whether natural or specific color. If you want the furniture with a color, apply dye TONNER (various colors), either cloth or spray evenly, then allow to dry 60 minutes to apply the sealer (LM-740 nitro sealer, sealer catalyzed LC -740. If it is natural to directly apply sealant (LM-740 nitro sealer, sealer catalyzed LC-740).
  • The number of coats of sealer depends on the quality of wood and finish you want to give. If you want an open pore finish, two coats are sufficient with an interval of 30 minutes between coats. For a closed pore finish or mirror finish, apply 3 to 5 hands at an interval of 30 minutes between coats. Note that hand must smooth the surface with sandpaper # 220 and the last coat of sealer should be applied to tune with sandpaper # 320.
  • If the cabinet has a special color, tint TONNER after sealant matching the color dye TONNER again allowing a better finish.
  • Finally apply a bright-looking TONNER lacquer, eggshell or matte depending on the look you want to give to the cabinet (LM-700, LM-770, LC-750, LC-770, LC-780), a two-handed every 40 minutes between coats. Dry the furniture at least twelve hours to avoid strong odors and damage to the finish.
